Firriato wines

The Firriato wine Firm is born in the same country from which has taken the name; it is situated between Xitta and Pacco, two localities near to Trapani. In this area, already in the seventeenth century the Prince Placido Fardella founder of Paceco, wishing to grow the population, he gave lands to several farmers to plant with vines in “delimitated gardens” (from here the name Firriato), in this way he has given a big boost of new vineyards installation. The Firriato, who has taken as reference the tradition, works out the control of the own production of selection of vineyards to finish product, with the help of cunning the most modern for the wine making and of the collaboration of Italian and foreign (Australian school) oenology. The own wine are exported in North Europe, USA and Japan with a good possibility to extend its market. Within the limits of the national market the Firriato has programmed the own commercial organization to make known better and affirm the imagine of their own products, to confirm so as one of the new emergent reality in the sector of Sicily wine.
