Duca di Salaparuta Vini

Duca di Salaparuta Wine House

Duca di Salaparuta always reveals the most interesting aspects of its territory of origin in a new and seductive manner. A selection of the most suitable territories were considered when establishing the group’s estates: Suor Marchesa in Riesi, Risignolo in Salemi and Vajasindi on the slopes of Mount Etna. Projects connected with the land of Sicily have always produced innovative experiments, some of which have become true icons, such as Duca Enrico, the first single varietal wine to be produced from Nero d’Avola grapes, whilst others represent new and interesting oenological challenges, such as Nawàri, Etna’s first Pinot Nero. Each one of Duca di Salaparuta’s wines is therefore an expression of the single territories and long wine-making tradition, but also a veritable way of life, elegant, unique and immediately recognisable. The territories The common thread linking the whole production range is undoubtedly the great evocative power of the territory from which each of the wines takes its origins. This element is at the heart of the philosophy adopted by Duca di Salaparuta, which has always focused on the production of wines of the highest quality. Wines produced from grapes originating from the very vineyards that, by vocation and the quality of the harvest, express the best of the island’s typical qualities. Traditional autochthonous grape varieties for the more traditional wines with the addition of international and new varieties for more innovative wines make up a consistently elegant and refined product range.
