TECHNICAL DETAILS

• Production area: Regaleali estate at 1500/2300 feet above the sea level, an hilly area in

the province of Palermo bordering south with the province of Caltanissetta. The estate is

more than 1400 acres wide of which 1000 acres are vineyards.

• Grapes: Chardonnay 100%.

• Vineyards: “Ciffitelli” and “Cava Rina Grande”.

• Age of vineyards: 1991.

• Training system: Espalier (Spurred cord).

• Vines per Ha: 4,200.

• Soil: Sandy clays.

• Vineyard exposure: South, South-East.

• Harvest period: 27th - 30th August 2004.

• Production tecniques: Classic method with refermentation in bottle.

• On Yeast: 23 months.

• Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.

ORGANOLEPTIC DETAILS

• Colour: Intense golden yellow.

• Bouquet: Rich fragrant, fruity. Yeasts, ripe fruit, pineapple.

• Taste: Soft creamy, delicate, on the whole harmonius and balanced, persistent and

pleasant. Perlage fine and continuous.

• After taste: Sweet like ripe fruit.
