TECHNICAL DETAILS
• Vine growing area: Regaleali Estate.
• Estate dimensions: 500 hectars.
• Geographical position: On the hills at 100 km south-east of Palermo at an altitude
between 450 and 700 meters above the sea level.
• Grapes: Nero d’Avola.
• Vines age: 10-20 years.
• Vines exposition: South East - South West.
• Soil: Sandy clays.
• Vines per Ha: 4,000.
• Harvest period: Late September early October.
• Yield per Ha: 8 t.
• Fermentation: Traditional in red in stainless steel tanks skins maceration 10 days at 26-
28°C.
• Malolactic fermentation: Totally developed.
• Refinement: In Slavonia oak vats of 30 and 60 hl for 6 months and in bottle for three
months before release.
• Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
• Appellation: Red - Sicilia I.G.T.
• Bottles produced: 750,000.
ORGANOLEPTIC DETAILS
• Colour: Bright, intense ruby red.
• Bouquet: Cherry, mulberry, sour black cherry, blueberry, vanilla, sage.
• Taste: Pleasantly velvety and well balanced tannins.
• After taste: Sweet like ripe fruit.
